EPPERT ELECTED TO NATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Omnibus founder and Artistic Director Nancy Eppert has been elected to the board of directors of the American Association of Community Theatre, the national governing body for community and amateur theaters.  In addition to being a member-at-large of the Board of Directors, Nancy was appointed to a second consecutive two-year term as chair of AACT’s Education Committee, overseeing efforts including educational curriculum and publications, continuing education programs for theater professionals, and conferences and seminars nationwide.

Enchanted Forest

Independence, Missouri’s “Enchanted Forest” celebrates its 20th season this October.  This non-scary Halloween event for the entire family is sponsored by the Powerhouse Theatre Foundation and the Independence, Missouri Department of Parks and Recreation.  The Enchanted Forest is located at George Owens Nature Park, 1601 Speck Road in eastern Independence.  The dates are October 21, 22, 28, and 29; the gates open at 7:00 PM and the cost is $3.00 per person.  Please call 816-325-7370 for more information.  COME AND JOIN THE FUN!!
